Location
The Spokane Valley Parent Co-op Preschool is located at the Opportunity Christian Church at N. 708 Pines Road in the Spokane Valley.

The co-op is not affiliated with the church.

Class Schedule for 2009/2010 Academic Year

Pre-Kindergarten

9:00—11:00 am Monday, Wednesday (two classes/week) 3 years of age by September 1st, 2009.

Family Day

9:00—11:00 am Friday (one class/week) Birth to 5 years of age.

Field Trips
The co-op discusses and plans monthly fieldtrips and other non-school organized outings. Fieldtrips are additional and optional, and may occur outside of the regular co-op class time. Also, fieldtrips are generally free, but may involve a nominal cost.

Fieldtrips help to bridge classroom learning to the real-life world, and are often tied to the current theme being studied in the classroom. Examples in the past have included Green Bluff Orchards to pick apples and pumpkins in the fall, Mobius Children's Museum, River Front Park Imax and carousel, dentist office, fire station, grocery store, library—to name a few!

Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available through the college's Parent Education Office, and requires the completion of an application each quarter.

Jean Payne Scholarships: For families below 135% of the poverty level. The scholarship pays 50% of monthly preschool fees the co-op charges for your child(ren). There are set deadlines for applying; no late applications will be processed.
