A Typical Day at Co-Op



9:30-9:50 Free play: the children have a chance to get settled into the preschool and play with any of the toys in the classroom including puzzles, games, puppets, kitchen, blocks, books, cars, trains, and much more.



9:50-10:10 Circle Time: Everyone gathers around the teacher for our morning songs, letter of the day, shape of the day, sharing time, and a short story, followed by instructions for the day's centers.



10:10-10:45 Centers: There are many centers planned around a certain theme for the week including science, art, reading, writing, play-doh, sensory table, and painting.



10:45-11:00 Snack time: each family takes turns bringing a healthy snack for the children to enjoy.



11:00-11:25 Large motor: activities outside whenever the weather is nice where children can ride on bikes, play ball, and run around on the grass. If the weather is rainy/snowy there is a large room for indoor large motor activities such as indoor bowling, playhut structures, hopscotch, and much more.



11:25-11:30 Closing: goodbye song and time pick up any projects to take home.
