Our Mission is to create a learning environment where parents and facilitator work together to help children build social and academic skills, enhance self esteem and prepare for kindergarten so that they are ready to face the challenges that lie before them and exceed their individual goals.

What is a CO-OP Preschool?..

  1. a unique early-childhood program with parent involvement
  2. a developmentally appropriate learning environment for children;
  3. a non-profit organization that is parent run and parent owned; and
  4. a parent education course offering non-graded credits through SFCC.

West Valley Co-op is an opportunity for your child to be exposed to a wide variety of educational experiences that stimulate his/her interest in the world. Parents work in the classroom one-day-a-week per child enrolled, and work as a team with the program facilitator (teacher) to provide the best learning environment.

Our preschool is affiliated with the community colleges of Spokane/Parent Education office. By participating in the Co-op parents are enrolled in a parent education course, and receive credit for their work in the preschool.
